Hill House

Home Manager

Sue Dunnel

I have worked in the care sector as a Home Manager for over 15years. Starting as a night care worker working my way up to over the years to the position of Care Home manager at Hill House. Alongside all the practical experience I have gained along this journey, I also hold all the qualifications that the Care Quality Commission expect a manager to hold. I feel quite humbled to have the continuing honour to be part of Hill House’s residents lives. Since joining the ADR team at Hill House I have been pleased to see how well the team know their residents. How they strive to help our residents live their lives in a enjoyable and meaningful way. They know the importance of putting the resident at the centre of all planning within the home. Their choices show through in their care plans and other choices they have made around the home.

Janet Bolton

I have been working in the care environment fourteen years, starting as a care assistant. Over the years I have developed my skills, knowledge and experience which range from qualifications in Diagnostics and Therapeutics to being a Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults trainer. I hold the relevant qualifications as a manager that the Care Quality Commission requires.

I have recently joined the team at Keneydon House as their manager. I feel the atmosphere is friendly, warm, cosy and happy. I enjoy the garden, it is a peaceful and relaxing place to sit and the internal surroundings reflect my grandparents’ home, with the ornaments, pictures, photographs and style of décor. It is a joy to work here.

We take pride in being a small part of our resident’s lives; we strive to ensure they have a happy meaningful life. We welcome families and friends in to Keneydon House to share precious moments and participate in daily activities. Together we can make a difference.
